As part of the ESIA, IEAD is required to conduct consultations at village, district, and provincial levels. IEAD has conducted six public consultations and they have demonstrated that the local communities are strongly supportive of the Project. The Project will not require any physical resettlement of community members. For members that will be economically displaced, the Project has been working with the local and international consultants to ensure that all compensation rates are in compliance with international standards and therefore, acceptable to international lenders.
